Unleash your creativity in this hands-on 2 session workshop! Grab a friend and double your fun. Whether you're a complete beginner in glass fusion or you are looking to sharpen your skills, this class offers a welcoming space to explore.

You can pick from a variety of themes for your lanterns, like seascapes, landscapes, flowers, animals, holidays, abstract and geometrical designs, or anything you like to make.

Choose from a dazzling array of materials including fusible colored glass, iridescent glass, stringers, frit, and pre-fired decorative elements to bring your vision to life.

After the workshop, Marcelle will carefully take your creations home for kiln firing. Your finished pieces will be returned to SCAHC and ready for pick-up just a week later.

Follow along and paint the natural beauty of Tuscany’s rolling hills, vineyards, and cypress trees.
In this 2-hour class you’ll learn color mixing, brush handling, and composition tips such as how using a winding path provides an entry point into the composition, and how to create a sense of depth and distance in the background with color and value shifts.

We’ll be using acrylics on a 11x14” canvas and all supplies are included. Join us and bring home a painting you’ll be proud of!

Step into a creative experience that feels both mindful and magical. In this Turkish mosaic lamp workshop, you’ll design your own glowing masterpiece using vibrant glass tiles and shimmering beads, transforming a simple lamp into a stunning work of art. This beginner-friendly workshop is perfect for anyone craving a fun, inspiring escape, with step-by-step guidance to make the process easy and enjoyable.

You’ll leave not only with a beautiful handmade lamp, but also with the satisfaction of creating something truly unique, meaningful, and full of light.

Please note all materials for the Turkish mosaic lamps are included, however due to drying time constraints we will not be grouting them. Grouting kits are available for cash-only purchase after the class for an additional $10.

Discover the art of pen and ink in this engaging three-session course designed for beginners! Back by popular demand, instructor Joe Citterbart will guide you through the essential techniques and creative processes needed to build confidence and create your own finished artwork.

Session 1: Foundations of Pen & Ink
Start with the fundamentals as you learn the building blocks of pen and ink drawing, including line control, value, gradients, and texture. These core techniques will help you develop a strong foundation and gain confidence working with this versatile medium.

Session 2: From Observation to Illustration
Take your skills to the next level by learning how to simplify complex subjects into basic shapes and forms. Explore techniques for creating depth and dimension through highlights, shadows, and grayscale rendering, bringing your drawings to life on the page.

Session 3: Create Your Final Project
Put everything you've learned into practice as you complete a finished piece of your own. Choose between creating a four-panel comic strip or a detailed still life, showcasing the techniques and skills developed throughout the course.
