Valentine's Glass Fusion Class

There are three different Valentine's glass fusion examples in the image. The first is a red heart made of small red glass dots on a transparent purple background. The second is an abstract design with red dots, blocks, and think red and purple stripes set on a white transparent background. Another example is a long glass fusion piece with two heart outlines, one made with large red dots and another made with small red dust, and very thin red and purple lines going across the piece.

Learn the basics of Glass Fusion in this class with a guided step-by-step process by Marcelle Rollinger.

You will be introduced to the different kinds of glass you can choose from to create your piece like glass sheets, frit, vitrograph, stringers, and glass paint. You will also learn how to cut glass and assemble your piece.

Your creation will then be fired in a kiln for 12 hours and cool down for 12 hours. You can pick up your artistic creation a week later at SCAHC during gallery hours.
