Arts and History Grant Applications are now CLOSED.
The Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council is no longer accepting applications from all Sussex County visual and performing arts groups and other non-profit organizations planning arts projects for the year 2025. SCAHC also accepts applications from all Sussex County history groups and other non-profit organizations planning history projects.
Applicant non-profit organizations must be 501(c) (3) certified, as determined by the IRS.

Funding for the Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council Re-grant Programs is provided by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts and the New Jersey Historical Commission. Each year local non-profit arts and history organizations are invited to apply for a grant. Other local non-profit organizations that are planning a special project in history or the arts are also invited to apply for a grant. Your organization is required to be tax-exempt under 501 (C) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Further information can be obtained by calling 862-243-0397. Funding of the Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council has been made available in part by the NJ State Council on the Arts, a division of the NJ Department of State and a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts, through the State/County Partnership Block Grant Program, as administered by the Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council. Additional funding has been made available in part by the New Jersey Historical Commission through the County History Partnership Program, as administered by the Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council. Partial funding provided by the Sussex County Board of Commissioners.
