Arts and History Grant Applications for FY 2027 are now OPEN
Application Deadline: October 23, 2026 | 5:00 PM Deadline
Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council (SCAHC) is now accepting 2027 grant applications from all Sussex County arts and history organizations, as well as other non-profit organizations planning arts or history projects. Eligible applicants include visual and performing arts organizations, history groups, and other non-profit organizations planning relevant programming. All applicants must be certified 501(c)(3) non-profits, as recognized by the IRS.

Grant Workshops are mandatory for first-time applicants.
Returning applicants are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Funding for the Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council Re-grant Programs is provided by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts and the New Jersey Historical Commission. Each year local non-profit arts and history organizations are invited to apply for a grant. Other local non-profit organizations that are planning a special project in history or the arts are also invited to apply for a grant. Your organization is required to be tax-exempt under 501 (C) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Further information can be obtained by calling 862-243-0397. Funding of the Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council has been made available in part by the NJ State Council on the Arts, a division of the NJ Department of State and a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts, through the State/County Partnership Block Grant Program, as administered by the Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council. Additional funding has been made available in part by the New Jersey Historical Commission through the County History Partnership Program, as administered by the Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council.
