Thank you for your interest in Sussex County’s 16th Annual Heritage Weekend!
This year, Heritage weekend will be on October 10th and 11th, 2026.
If you are interested in participating in Heritage Weekend, we ask that you fill out our 2026 Heritage Weekend Participation Application and email it back to SCAHC by Monday, June 22. Any event or site that wishes to be featured as part of this program must reside in Sussex County. Special Events that are currently scheduled will be added to this page as they are received by SCAHC.

Special Events scheduled for 2026 Heritage Weekend:
 | Revolution 250 Traveling Exhibit "Revolutionary Lives: Living the American Experiment Then and Now" On View at SCAHC Saturday, October 11 | 12 - 5 PM Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council This traveling exhibition explores the tumultuous period of the American Revolution through the stories of everyday people under extraordinary circumstances. They urge us to consider how their stories echo through time, and what we can do to fulfill the promises and ideals of the Revolution. |
